ENGAWAのランチと東急ハンズのオヤジシェフ

このところ寒い日が続き、今日は日差しが回復したがまだまだ肌寒い日が続く。今朝の新聞には会津の桜に雪が積もっている写真が掲載されていたが、今年の気象はやはり異常だ。
こんな寒い日のランチはやっぱり味噌煮込みうどんと思って「葱や」に行ってみたが、やっぱり行列。手前のENGAWAに久しぶりに入った。ここは一見クラブ風のインテリアだが、日替わり定食が800円ということもあって、サラリーマンで店内は満席だ。
今日のランチは「筍とあこう鯛の揚げだし」。
東急ハンズのキッチン売り場に「男のスタイリッシュキッチン」や「オヤジシェフ」などのキャッチコピーが並んでいる。気持ちは分かるが、この程度の道具では本当のオヤジシェフが欲しくなるようなモノが見当たらないのは残念。昔のハンズはプロの心をくすぐるものがいろいろあったが、どうも本当に男の料理を楽しむスタッフがいないように思う。hideを雇ってくれれば、もう少し面白く、売れる売り場が作れるんだが‥‥。(hide)
