ミニトマト「アイコ」の収穫！と梅雨明けの夕日

キッチンガーデンのミニトマト「アイコ」を収穫しました。
夕食でサラダにしていただきましたが
新鮮なトマトの香りがたまらなく美味しかったです♬
次の収穫までは少し時間がかかりそうですが
まだまだ小さな実が沢山なりつつあるので
今年の夏は結構楽しめそうです。(tami)

最高気温が35度近くまで上がった東京。気象庁がようやく梅雨明け宣言を出した。
先月の26日のブログで既に梅雨明けでは？と書いていたのがようやく今日になって宣言とはあまりにも空を見ていない。今日の夕日は何層にも様々な雲が入り乱れ夕焼けで真っ赤に染まった。(hide)

うぐいすの声に起こされて‥

日が陰ると途端に寒くなってくるのが山の気温。暖炉の暖かさが心地よい眠りを誘ってくれる。今朝はうぐいすの鳴き声で目が覚めた。
すっかり朝寝坊をして、今朝はオムレツと昨夜のキャベツ半分を炒める。コーヒーが旨い。
食事の後、もう一度食器洗い機を動かし、洗濯機を回し、3階まで掃除機をかけ、ぞうきんがけもすませて、ようやく散歩。
新緑が目にしみる。昨日の曇りが嘘みたいに青空が広がって、真夏の雲が。
戸締まりをすませて1時過ぎに下山。さあ明日からの仕事に全力で！(hide)

半年ぶりの山小屋くらし

暑い東京を抜けだして、久しぶりの山小屋くらし。持参したMacBookProに電話回線が繋がらないことをわすれていたため、画像のアップができません。帰京してから再度アップします。
というわけで、久しぶりの山小屋生活の一端をご紹介します。facebookで書いたところ、いろいろ反響がありましたが、風を通して大掃除をするのが基本作業ですから、うらやましい話ではありません。
小屋の周りは、今が一番の緑の季節です。5月でも雪が降るほどの場所なので、6~8月が新緑で、9月に入ると一気に秋を迎えます。短い夏を思いっきり楽しみたいですね！

富良野のメロンと京王線

先週5日に注文してあった北海道・富良野の近藤農園から「King Ruby Eight」という名のメロンが届きました。facebook友達「北のフードソムリエ」北村さんのサイトから注文できる北海道の本物の味です。3日くらい経って蔓の部分が枯れてくると食べごろなんだそうです。押し花のしおりが嬉しいですね！
ビックリしたのはその大きさです。キッチンスケールで計ろうとしたら重すぎてエラーが出てしまい、体重計で測ったらひとつ2.3kgもありました！食べごろが待ち遠しいですね。

深夜の驚くような激しい雨が嘘だったような快晴の朝！おまけに水銀柱もグングン上がって最高気温が31度、蒸し暑さがたまらない。
京王線の地下化工事がいよいよ終盤に入って、来月19日には地下への切替えがおこなわれる。8月初めには見学会も開かれる予定で公募に申し込んでいたが、抽選に外れたというハガキが届いた。残念！
この線路もあとひと月で見納めになると思うと、少しセンチな気持ちになる。地下化になったあとこの周辺はどんな光景に変わるんだろうか？45年間もの間調布の街中を描き続けておられる中川平一さんという方が今日も線路際で調布名物のラーメン屋に向かって絵筆を走らせていた。(hide)
