新しいデジカメCybershot DSC-RX100

Canon G10の修理費が25,000円もかかるという不可解なサービスセンターからの連絡を受け、古いデジカメを2日ほど使ったがやっぱり性能不足は否めない。
昨日も今日も仕事に出たが、昼休みにヨドバシカメラに出かけて、ハイエンド・コンパクトデジカメに的を絞っていろいろ選択した結果、選んだのがSONY Cybershot DSC-RX100だ。G10の後継機種と比較しても、2020万画素、ISO感度25600、重量240gという性能はかなりの違いがある。
早速、夕焼け前の渋谷の空を試し撮り。なかなか綺麗に撮れるようだ。
SONYのデジカメを使うのは初めてだが、これから毎日お世話になるのでよろしくお願いします！(hide)

世田谷区消費者カレッジ

朝晩は少し秋の気配を感じるようになりましたが、
日中はまだまだ残暑が厳しいですね。
今日の午後は、三軒茶屋駅の近くにある
世田谷区消費生活センター主催の
世田谷区消費者カレッジ「いざ！という時に備える保存食」
というタイトルでお話と
簡単な保存食づくりの実演をさせていただきました。
30名の定員に多くの方々のお申し込みがあったそうで
抽選があったそうです。
それだけに集まっていただいた皆様は
とっても熱心に聞いていただきました。
ご質問もたくさんいただき、
私自身にとってもとっても役立つ良い機会を
与えていただき感謝しております。

キッチン塾の募集開始とCanon PowerShot G10

先週末から今年のキッチンスペシャリスト資格制度の受験申込書の配布が始まったが、これに併せて、キッチンスペシャリスト受験対策の「キッチン塾」の募集を9月10日から開始することになった。

先日、愛用のCanon PowerShot G10のレンズカバーが全開しなくなり、新宿のCanonサービスに持ち込んだ。受付ではこれはレンズの寸胴の交換になりますから12000円の修理費が かかりますと言われ、6月19日にシャッターや基板の交換をしたばかりだと指摘したら無料で修理ですと言われたが、5日に電話があり、これは液体か何か粘り気のある物がシャッターの裏に付着していて重損傷になるので25,000円の修理費がかかりますが、如何致しましょうか？と言われた。今時25,000 円もかけたら新しいデジカメが手に入るじゃないかということで修理をキャンセルして今朝戻ってきた。
2009年1月から3年半も愛用してきたカメラだけに悔しいが、しょうがないかな？(hide)

新製品「クーキレイ」発表会

昼過ぎから、汐留イタリア街区にある「アーキテクトカフェ」会場において、今日から発売開始されるレンジフードメーカー富士工業の新製品「クーキレイ」の発表会があった。
〜煙を吸いとるダイニング照明器具〜「クーキレイ」は、食卓で焼き肉や鍋料理を楽しむときに悩まされる煙や臭いがダイニングルームに充満することを防ぐ、ダクトレスの換気扇付きペンダント照明だ！
