厚い雲の切れ目から時おり青空がのぞく土曜日の朝。ベランダの植木鉢に発生した「カタバミ」がずいぶん勢いが良くなり、黄色い可憐な花を咲かせている。
ランチはENGAWAへ。土曜のランチタイムに関わらず客がまったくいない。店員に聞いたところ今週から900円に値上げして、ぱったりと客足が途絶えてしまったそうだ。
少し前までオーガニックランチを標榜し、十穀米のご飯だったのがいつの間にか麦が少し入っただけのご飯になり、今日の鮭の照焼きも身が固くなってしまって不味いことなど、客の満足度が下がったから来ないだけだと指摘した。
ちなみにこのランチはENGAWA御膳と呼んで1000円。
仕事を終えてから、久しぶりに銀座ハナマサへ肉の買い出し。相変わらず店の前には観光バスを連ねてやってくる中国人観光客が時間つぶしに座り込んでいる。
いつも買っている豚ロースや三枚肉は109円/100gだが、以前は98円だったのと税別に変わったので実質的には20%以上の値上がりだ。今夜の仕入れ肉は合計で約6kg！(hide)
