BOOK-OFFがヤフOFFに？！

昨日は朝日新聞セミナーのあと，吉祥寺の「うな鐵」でうな重を食べ、帰宅してからお土産に買って帰った「いせ櫻」のおはぎをふたつ半食べ、夕食では鉄鍋ビビンバをしっかりと頂いたため、ランチは軽い目に「神座」のラーメン。このラーメンは白菜がたっぷり入っているのでスープがとても軽い感じで、二日酔いにはぴったりだ。
BOOK-OFFで次に読む本を探そうと思って立ち寄ったら改装工事中で26日まで閉店。看板が変わって「ヤフOFF」になっていて驚く。YAHOOとBOOK-OFFの新事業展開のようだ。(hide)

朝日新聞主催「キッチンセミナー」と秋分の日のおはぎ

快晴の朝11時から、吉祥寺駅前にあるリビングカルチャー倶楽部吉祥寺会場で朝日新新聞三鷹住宅展示場主催のキッチンセミナーを開き、20人以上の参加者で大いに盛り上がりました。既に新築計画の土地を持っておられ、これからハウスメーカーの選定に入る段階のお客様がほとんどなので、いきおいキッチン計画にも熱が入ります。
昼過ぎでセミナーを終え、吉祥寺の街中を散策。ランチはサンロード手前の路地裏にある「うな鐵」でうな重2,000円。渋谷駅前のうな鐵とはまったく関係ない店だそうで、うな重の味もこの店のほうが濃厚で旨い。
行列のできるメンチカツ屋も相変わらず健在で、祝日の今日は30人以上の人たちが黙々と並んでいる。その昔試しに食べたことがあったが、はっきり言って何が旨いのか分からないメンチカツに行列するのは理解できない。
戦後のバラック街が今も残るハモニカ横町の店は、数軒しか開いてなかったが、その中の「いせ桜」におはぎが並んでいたので土産に買って帰った。
この「おはぎ」なかなかの旨い味だった。(hide)

秋晴れのRoyalGardenCafeのパスタランチ

秋晴れの気持ちのいい天気が続いている。こんな日はアウトドアランチが決まりだったが代々木公園をはじめとして閉鎖されている公園が多く、東急本店屋上も休憩用の椅子がほとんど撤去されて居心地が悪くなり、結局RoyalGardenCafeでパスタランチ。ここは2階なので余り蚊は飛んでこないが、代々木公園から500mも離れていないので要注意！
そんな訳か、12時過ぎのテラスはかなり空いていたが、ランチを終えて帰る頃には混雑して行列ができていた。(hide)
