昼過ぎでセミナーを終え、吉祥寺の街中を散策。ランチはサンロード手前の路地裏にある「うな鐵」でうな重2,000円。渋谷駅前のうな鐵とはまったく関係ない店だそうで、うな重の味もこの店のほうが濃厚で旨い。
行列のできるメンチカツ屋も相変わらず健在で、祝日の今日は30人以上の人たちが黙々と並んでいる。その昔試しに食べたことがあったが、はっきり言って何が旨いのか分からないメンチカツに行列するのは理解できない。
戦後のバラック街が今も残るハモニカ横町の店は、数軒しか開いてなかったが、その中の「いせ桜」におはぎが並んでいたので土産に買って帰った。
この「おはぎ」なかなかの旨い味だった。(hide)
