名古屋出張と田植えの季節

早朝から名古屋のクライアントへ出張。新幹線の時間まで少し余裕があったので東京駅で途中下車して丸の内出口を久しぶりに観にいった。
大改修の終わった頃は皆が見上げていたドームも、今では急ぎ足のサラリーマンたちの誰も観ようともしない。
新幹線ホームに昇るエスカレーターに朝日が差し込んで、ブラックホールならぬホワイトホールに吸い込まれそうな錯覚を覚える。
新幹線から見える田圃の面積は、10年前と比べても半分以下に減ってしまい、それもほとんどが工場や住宅に分断され、こんな状態でTPPでいくら突っぱねてもあまり意味の無い現実を思う。昔の田圃と違ってあぜ道を流れる水路も住宅や工場の中を流れていて、これで本当に旨い米を作るというのは非現実的だと思う。
帰りの新幹線に乗る前に、ホームにある「立ち食いのきしめん」を久しぶりに食べて腹ごしらえ。新幹線に乗ってから駅弁の「近江牛ステーキ重」1,500円を平らげて満足。ちょっと食べ過ぎたかな？(hide)
