新宿駅で電車を待っていたら、向かいのホームに変わった色の山手線が入ってきた。
車体に1914と2014と描かれている。そう言えばこの色は昔の省線電車の色だった。
ということは省線電車が走り始めてちょうど100年が経った訳なんだろうか？今の若い人たちに省線電車と言っても知らない人が多いと思うが、かっては鉄道省や運輸省管轄の国鉄が走らせた通勤電車のことだ。その割にキャンペーンが見られないのはどうしてだろう？

ランチは友人に案内していただいた下町の蕎麦屋。ネットでも一切公開されていない店なので店名は秘密。さすがにこの店の鴨葱蕎麦と透き通るように真っ白な新そばは最高に旨かった。
2時過ぎに六本木AXISビルにあるJIDA事務局まで打合せ。帰りの六本木ははとバスに乗ったAKB48や東海大学付属高輪台高校の吹奏楽部のブラスバンドが加わって、全国地域安全運動のデモ行進があって大渋滞。六本木から犯罪を無くそうという主旨のようだが、現実の深夜の六本木はアフリカ系のキャッチセールスが群がって怖くて歩けない。昔の六本木のほうがずっと安全だったのが残念だ。(hide)
